Joint International Laboratory on adaptation of plants and associated microorganisms to environmental stresses

The Sustainable Intensification Conference 2017: Biodiversity and ecological engineering for sustainable intensification of agriculture will be held in Dakar (Senegal) from April 24th to April  26th 2017.

This conference is jointly organized by the international joint laboratories IESOL (Intensification Ecologique des Sols Cultivés en Afrique de l’Ouest ) and LAPSE (LMI Adaptation des Plantes et microorganismes associés aux Stress Environnementaux ), the research and training partnership IAVAO (Innovation et Amélioration Variétale en Afrique de l'Ouest ) and the SIIL (Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Collaborative Research on Sustainable Intensification ). It aims to present current approaches and research activities that might improve agricultural productivity and livelihoods in rural communities, increase resilience and mitigate land degradation as well climate change.
